Hello, New Mexico! In a positive development, Partner, Jenipher Jones has recently been admitted to the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. This means Jenipher may accept cases based upon and authorized by federal law, including civil rights actions, general employment related matters, police misconduct, and prisoners' rights.
Ms. Jones, who is a graduate of social justice organization, Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC), based in Albuquerque states: "I am deeply honored to be admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico. New Mexico is near and dear to my heart. I look forward continuing my deep commitment to social justice, by serving, where permissible, this district so rich in culture, but historically underserved."
